Anne Marie Garrity, CSJ, began at Bethany in 1970 as a cook. After a year, she started working as a nurses aid and decided this was the ministry she wanted to pursue. Anne Marie attended Youvile Nursing School, graduating in 1975.  Then she attended Quinsigamond Community College where she was certified as an occupational therapist in 1980. Today, Sister Anne Marie continues to serve as the LPN at meal times – a ministry which she truly enjoys. She said, “What is such a gift is to see the hand of God in all I have been fortunate to do in Bethany. The people who have come into my life at Bethany during these 45 years is something I could not have planned, even if I had thought to.”
