Join us on a customized heritage pilgrimage designed to deepen our awareness of the origins of the Sisters of St. Joseph.

We continue on to Le Puy en Velay, where the first sisters gathered with Jean Pierre Médaille in 1650. On the way we will visit Bas-en-Basset birthplace of Jeanne Fontbonne, Monistrol where she entered the Sisters of St. Joseph, and St. Didier where she was imprisoned during the French Revolution. Our visit will include time at the CSSJ International Centre which opened in October, 2004.

After three days in Le Puy en Velay, we head for Paris via the Cluny/Taizé area. Cluny is the site of one of the largest monastic movements in history. Taizé is home of one of the world’s largest ecumenical youth movements.
